Adekemi Omotubora is a lecturer at the department of Commercial and Industrial Law, University of Lagos. She holds a PhD (on cybersecurity law) from the University of Leeds, UK and master of laws (LLM) in cyberlaw from the same University. She has previously studied at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife where she obtained first and master degrees in Law.
Her core research and writing focus on the intersection of law and technology particularly, privacy, data protection and identity management and the regulation of emerging technologies and the digital economy. Adekemi is passionate about data protection, digital inclusion and the gendered aspects of digital technologies and organises events around these themes.
